The Shoalhaven Dressage Club Competition Day 22nd April 2018

April 23, 2018

Sunday the 22nd of April 2018 what a great day it turned out to be with the weather, I had a beautiful drive along the Princess Hwy down the South Coast of New South Wales early in the morning ... Once I crossed the historical bridge over the river and into Nowra I was almost there, a short drive a little further up the road to The Worrigee Equestrian Common which was nestled behind the residential area then wow a beautiful parkland lush green grass, with the clubhouse on the upper side of the park set up with great views for spectators to see all the action in every angle to all the Dressage Arenas.

It was straight into shooting and capturing the days action as I covered 4 Arenas of Competition at the same time all day long with a couple of extra warm up areas as well to keep me busy in between breaks. I had a wonderful time photographing the sport in which I love and all the magnificent horses which looked splendid as the bright south coast sunshine lit up their bodies, the riders on board for there mounts also looked splendid some even sparkled with a little bling here & their just to razzle & dazzle the judges.

Thank you to the Shoalhaven Dressage Club for allowing me to attend your Event I had a great day out and I look forward to attending another time so until then remember my Motto: KEEP SMILING 4 ME Ian Vaughan Photography.
