Another GREAT Event held by the Berrima Horse Trials at Araluen property over the 27th and 28th of May 2017, lots of fun spread over two days starting off on Saturday morning with heavy fog with the sun fighting it's way through as it rose for the day. I had myself organised and arrived early to capture some special sunrise Landscape shots which became early morning fog Landscape shots as the sun started to shine, I captured some beautiful images especially at The Centennial Vineyards water feature with the large wine barrels in the centre of the pond ready for the cross country star jumpers and with the three lovely tall leafless trees to one side reflecting like a mirror towering over the still misty/cold water, simply perfect images soon to be added to my Landscape Album on my website. A great social atmosphere all weekend I met some great people and saw plenty of my fans and followers who compete regularly, I even handed out some black treats to a few special fury friends who came and said hello.
The image I chose to display and promote this event is of Shane Rose one of the Elite Equestrian Riders and a member of The Australian Olympic Team, this image I captured at Mound Jump No. 15 on entry into Centennial Vineyard water feature of the Cross Country (XC) course Sunday afternoon. I chose this jump to photograph for it's abundance of fawner beauty and simplicity structure which was appealing to me.
