It was a pleasure to come along and support my local Pony Club and donate my services as a photographer to capture the Official Opening of The Olivia Inglis Memorial Water Jump in honour of Olivia who was a member of the Berrima District Pony Club for many years.
The Event went smoothly with a big roll up of club members, parents and friends of Olivia along with the Inglis Family and members of the Olivia Inglis Foundation Committee ... a memorable afternoon filled with smiles, friendship a love throughout the Equestrian folk in attendance.
After the official opening and the unavailing of the plaque incorporated into a sandstone bolder Mr & Mrs Inglis cut the official jump ribbon at the jumps entry to the crowds delight and cheer.
A selection of eight riders from the club membership, Olivia's friends and her two sisters made up the troop of eight to christen the now known Olivia Inglis Memorial Water Jump, fun had by all with plenty of smiles from riders and horses as they stomped through the water splashing about with fond memories of Olivia. Shortly followed by a social gathering at the clubhouse as the sun was heading to bed a beautiful afternoon had by all whom attended.
