Wow what a great weekend of Equestrian Eventing that we all love, bigger and better than last year. I did my best to photograph as much as I could starting off Saturday with eight arena's of Dressage, I photographed all x 8 Arena's best I could from the start right through to the end, I then moved onto photograph the last of the 1* Star Showjumping on the Grass Arena. Saturday Afternoon I positioned myself under the tree as riders completed the log jump No. 11 from the water pond, I captured all the splashes and motivation the riders gave their furry friends as they exited the water over jump No. 11 the log alongside the river then up the track to the open paddocks and beyond, I photographed every competitor from start of the XC to the last rider on course and the end of Saturdays Events. Come Sunday I got out on the XC course early and positioned myself on the grass area around all the jumps No. 20 A/B, the stockyard jumps, the Barrels and the well known Baxter Boots top of the Hill and road crossing to the finish line, I captured the start and every level rider from the first to the last at the end on the day, I did my best to cover as many of the variety of the jumps in the area at times battling to shoot through wonder spectators roaming the area, All up over the two days I managed to shoot a Grand Total of 14,000 images so I should have a few of each of you during the weekend explaining the time its taken me solo to sort through and upload all to my website catching the odd wink of sleep here n their, The light is at the end of the tunnel with the last of the Saturday XC images which should be finished uploading by midnight tonight being Tuesday the 17th of October. Some of my regular customers have already found their images, Until we meet again remember my Motto: KEEP SMILING 4 ME Ian Vaughan Photography.
